Yesterday's race wasn't too bad - for a Hungarian GP, that is. I'd have thought that the only interesting bit would be to see how many (or rather how few) Michael Schumacher would manage to stay out. I suspected he was very light. Turns out he wasn't that light after all, so he really must have driven a brilliant qualifying lap. I've been hoping for a really big start pile-up for quite some races now (think Hockenheim 2003 or Melbourne 2001) but to no avail. The "opening lap incidents" yesterday where probably as close as we'll get this year. Quite a spectacular roll by Klien, though. My hopes now rest on Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium with its tight Eau Rouge hairpin right after the start.
Anyway. It was impressive to see just how easily Räikönnen stormed away from Schumacher after snatching the lead at the second pit stop. Fortunately for him, Kimi was spared from mechanical failure. This time, it was Montoya who was granted his wish from Hockenheim: "I'd like to have some of Kimi's bad luck". Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it ...
