Yesterday's inaugural race in Turkey was an entertaining event. Lots of little dramas, more overtaking than usual - it made for a typical "He who is without problems, wins" race. Interesting to see that the between their two cars, Williams collected four damaged tyres, all of them the right rear tyre. Something that Heinz Prüller failed to comment on.
I agree with David Coulthard when he said that it would be better to allow those who retired from one race first to go out last in qualifying. Having the good guys go out last practically guarantuees that they will continue to be good, and the field wouldn't be as shuffled. It also gives raise to bizzare situations where drivers who seemingly retired get back on track after half an hour to collect a few more laps and improve their qualifying slot.
